India Air Force (IAF) has released the notification for the recruitment of Airmen for batch 02/2019. Indian Air Force invited for unmarried male citizens (Indians/Nepalese) in group X trades (except education instructor trade) and group Y trades (except ground training instructor, Indian air force (police, security), automobile technician).
Candidates who are interested and eligible for this post can fill application form from official website of IAF. Candidates who will apply will go through a series of online test, Physical Fitness test, and medical test. Application form for the selection of airmen are now released on the official website of IAF. Interested candidate can fill application form for Indian air force airmen 2019 online. Application form must filled corretly because no correction will made after submitting application form and the form must be submitted before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria 

Group X Eligibility criteria for Educational Instrucor Trade

Passed intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination from c.b.s.e board or any othe recognized board with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English or Passed three year course of Diploma course in Engineering in any branch, as mentioned in the drop down menu of apply section under candidates's login on the CASB web portal www.airmenselection.cdac.in. The candidate should have completed the course from a government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in 10+2, if English is not subject in course of Diploma.


Group Y Eligibility Criteria for (GTI, IAF (P), IAF (S), Musician and Automobile Technician)

Passed intermediate/10+2/equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physic, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. Diploma degree holders are eligible to appear for group X trades only.

Age Limit 

Candidate born between 14 July 1998 and 26 June 2002 (including both days) are eligible to apply for the exam. After completing all the selection procedure the age limit  on date of enrollment must be 21.
