Jammu & Kashmir Police Recruitment 2019 - Jammu and Kashmir Police department has recently posted a notification carrying 2700 Police constable posts for JK Police Constable. This 2700 post is divided equally among boys and girls. 1350 for girl constable and 1350 for boys constable.

Jammu & Kashmir Police Recruitment 2019 - Jammu & Kashmir has invited both male & Female battalions on both Jammu and Kashmir region. Interested and eligible candidate can apply online within 30 days. Candidate must apply on or before 08 April 2019.

Vacancies For The Post Of Constable In Border Battalions Of Jammu & Kashmir


Education Qualification -

Candidate must have passed matriculation or equivalent from recognised Institute/10th passed.


Age Limit(01/01/2019) -

  • Candidate must have Minimum Age - 18 years
  • Candidate must have Maximum Age - 28 years


The selection process for J&K Border Battalions -

For J&K 2700 Police Recruitment 2019. The candidate will be selected on the basis Following tests :
  • Written Exam
  • Physical Standard Test(PST)
  • Physical Endurance Test(PET)

Written Test - Written Test for J&K Constable Border Battalions will have objective questions comprising of maximum 100 marks for 2 hours duration. The Written exam will comprise questions as follows :
  • General Awareness
  • General Knowledge 
  • Elementary Mathematics
  • Analytical aptitude and ability

Physical Standard Test(PST) - Candidate applying for J&K Border Battalions must have following Physical Standard Ability:-
  • Height - 5'-6"(Minimum)
  • Chest - 32"(Un-expanded)
  • Chest - 31.5"(Expanded)
For Candidate belonging to the Ladakh region and Gorkha community:

  • Height - 5'-4"(Minimum)
  • Chest - 32"(Un-expanded)
  • Chest - 31.5"(Expanded)

Physical Endurance Test(PET) - Candidate applying for J&K Border battalions must have the following physical endurance:-
  • Race - 1600 meters in 6 and a half minutes
  • Pushups - 20(Full cycle of up and down is counted as one)


Pay Scale For J&K Border battalions -

  • Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
  • Revised - Rs 19,900 to Rs. 63,200/-
