Selection Process
Candidate applying for SBI PO 2000 Posts have to face 3 phases as follows:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination

Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have 3 Sections with separate timings for each section as follows:

Descriptive Test
The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
Group Exercises & Interview
Group Exercises contain 20 marks and interview 30 marks
NOTE - In mains exam, both objective and Description test will be contributed. Both will be an online computerised Test. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of mains marks added with GE & Interview. The candidate has to first pass the Preliminary Examination.
Negative Marking - In Both preliminary and mains exams, negative marks for every wrong answer given by the candidate, 1/4 of the marks allotted to that questions will be deducted.
